ART APPRECIATION

I went few times in that museum and found it boring. However, this exhibition is defferent. I found things that interested me as design. It also questionned me about the place of a black person in the world of design and creation. May be black people are not really represented in design firms, but they are relly creative. I think it is an important exhibition. I enjoyed it. I hope to see more thigs like that soon. Charles Harrison, Design for a portable phonograph, 1972. Colored pencil and tracing paper. After exploring the website, I can feel that the Art Instituve is a good museum. Their collection is rich and interesting. The history behind each piece change the way we see them. The website is also dynamic. I really like these piece....                    

This is the Kiss of Rodin, 1889,  181,5  cm  × 112,5  cm  × 117  cm  cm The sculpture is showing a kiss. The subject that matter is love. This scupture shows a big emotion. I am really impressed about that sculpture and the shape of the both lovers. All the feelings of love become a shape.

This a poem that express the life of a poet. I think he is a ship in a crazy ocean. Rain and winds are problems for hime. He try to survive by his writing. Writing help the poet to stay on the good way.

                                   I wear lot of grey clothes. Because it makes me feel simple. However I like bright colors. It is a big paradox.                    I like flashy yellow or green. Orange is my favorite one I can say.                    As colorful image, I really like the painting '' Dynamism of a Soccer Player '' of  Umberto BOCCIONI. All the bright colors that I like are there. Their symbiosis also show the dynamism an ;movement that BOCCIONI needed to express. The futurism movement know how to use color for me.
