       For this work, I selected the Artist Richard Sierra for the Theme Place. The goal of the work of Sierra is to create a new space in the space. It is an interaction with the architecture and people. His work is organic, and different. It question people about what art can be, and how we can live with it in the same space. I want to create an interaction.

         The movie take place in Paris. Amedeo Modigliani,  the principal actor, is a painter that tried to obtain a good position in creme de la creme artists of that time. He was alcoholic and very dependent to drug who will destroy his life. The movie shows how the artist fight against poverty to be recognized. His principal opponent is Pablo Picasso and their revality will increase for a painting contest. The movie also reveal the particular personnality of Amedeo.         I think this movie is really interesting. I don't know a lot of things about Modigliani. This movie is helping me a lot.

Blog: Reflection Art Institute Visit

         At the AIC museum, we did a hunt. In fact, in group of two we discovered and analyzed the most impressive pieces of AIC. We saw sculptures, paintings of Van Gogh, Monet, Gauguin and other impressionist artists. We also visit the modernist gallery. As a result we discovered the surrealist, cubist, suprematism...etc.              I was really impressed by the impressionist gallery. Particularity in front of Auguste Rodin's sculptures. Something is magical, amazing and conceptual in these sculptures.  They have simple shapes and elegance. They are just unique.              We are in admiration in front of these pieces, but they are just piece of wood, painted on a canvas. That simplicity shows that an art piece that cost millions is just a simple object of every day. We also need to live with art. It shows us a new way to see the world and appreciate things. POEM ...
