After listening to the TED TALK, I can say that I didn't know that therory. This TED TALK taught us why do we find something beautiful. It shows us that it is more than our culture or our eyes. However, it is something deeper that came from our ancesters.
The first most surprising thing for me is when he explained that all people find few caracteristics of nature beautiful. It is the case of trees, roads, animal and rivers. I didn't know that this aspect of nature can be universal.
I also like when he talked about the triangular shape of the hand axes. That shape is simple and people find it beautiful.
- The artwork that I find the most beautiful is "Labourage Nivernais" by Rosa Bonheur. That painting is beautiful because of the triangular composition. It also shows the diffuculty of work and human condition that matter for me.
- As objects, I really like african masks. They are simple, primitive and reflect where I came from and who are my ancestors. That object looks like me.
- As landscape, I really olaces of north west Africa. It is the ocher color of these places that I find unique and amazing.
